Jal Jivaan Mission (Akola)
In Jal Jeevan Mission ( JJM) Topographic survey are used to gather details information about a village’s terrain, water sources ,and infrastructure for planning and implementing water supply projects.
This involves mapping the area , including elevation changes water bodies, existing infrastructure , and other features , to create a comprehensive base for designing and building a relible water supply system.

NIT ( Layout Digitization)
The Nagpur Improvement Trust (NIT) is for developing new urban layouts in Nagpur, including infrastructure like roads, water pipelines, and sewage lines. They also handle the maintenance of these layouts after completion, including sanitation and drainage. NIT acquires land, develops it, and then recovers costs by auctioning plots to the public. Furthermore, NIT is involved in the regularization of unauthorized residential areas and the maintenance of gardens and lakes.
